LK - for Ableton Live & Midi 1.13.4

LK is a versatile remote control application designed for enhancing the production and live performance of electronic music. It provides a wide range of features and functionality for use with music software and hardware.

One of the standout features of LK is its seamless integration with Ableton Live through the use of our free UBRIDGE desktop application. This allows users to access and control Ableton Live projects using both wired and wireless connections. LK also boasts extensive MIDI capabilities, enabling communication and control of any MIDI compliant software or hardware, including apps running on the same device, thanks to virtual MIDI support and AUv3 integration.

LK is divided into six distinct modules, each available as a separate in-app purchase, offering users the ability to customize their experience based on their specific needs.

Let's take a look at what each module has to offer:

• MATRIX: This module provides control over almost every aspect of Ableton Live, including clips, tracks, devices, and more. It also features a built-in clip launcher and composer, allowing users to create multiple tracks and scenes and play clips in perfect sync.
• PADS: Designed to recreate the traditional feel of an MPC on your touchscreen, PADS includes an arpeggiator and chorder. In Ableton Live mode, it automatically maps drum rack pad names to each pad on the app for easy navigation. It can also be used in MIDI mode to quickly play other synth apps.
• CONTROLLER: With CONTROLLER, users gain extensive control over 128 parameters. Knobs, faders, buttons, and pads can be used to control MIDI hardware as well as desktop and mobile DAWs. Additionally, this module now supports AUv3 integration, further expanding its capabilities.
• X/Y PAD: This module allows users to perform three-dimensional parameter tweaking. It can work with both CC and NOTE events, allowing users to assign a separate CC per axis in CC mode. In NOTE mode, X controls pitch, Y controls velocity, and Z controls Note ON/Note OFF.
• CHORDER: Designed to add a new dimension to chord-playing, the CHORDER module serves as a chord generator. Users can build chords and arrange them according to their needs.
• KEYBOARD: The KEYBOARD module offers a range of expression capabilities with its 3-axis control. It can be fully customized to suit different scales and keyboard ranges. Additionally, users can map Live or MIDI CC parameters to be controlled by the keyboard's key position, further enhancing expression during performances.

LK also supports connection with USB MIDI interfaces, allowing users to interact with external gear.

In order to connect LK to your host computer, you will need to download and install UBRIDGE, a free software utility available for both Windows and OSX. UBRIDGE can be downloaded from the Imaginando website.
